Last year I told a friend that I was enlightened. I was being a bit cheeky of course, as I may experience moments of enlightenment but it is not yet a continuous effortless stream.
Recently I found a quote that most closely describes what I mean by being enlightened, because there are all kinds of interpretation about what that is.
"Enlightenment means literally aligning to the Energy of my Source. And genius is only about focusing. Law of Attraction takes care of everything else. Physical humans often want to make enlightenment about finding some process and moving through the process that has been pre-described. But true enlightenment is moving to the rhythm of the internal inspiration that is coming in response to the individual desire. Enlightenment is about allowing my connection to the Source that is me for the fulfillment of the things that I have individually defined here in my time/space reality. That's as good as it gets!" Abraham Hicks
When I am aligned with the energy of my Source and moving to the rhythm of the internal inspiration I feel, then I live from a place of fulfillment, joy, ease, sweetness, harmony and I feel a greater sense of trust. I experience a sense of expansion and clarity. I am more able to stay connected to my inner being of light and love.
Of course I do not do this perfectly, but the more I am in this place, the better I feel and the more available I am to embrace and enjoy my moment to moment life experience.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Today is an invitation to celebrate your loving connection with family and friends.
How often we cut ourselves short on the infinite love and joy we could be accessing in our daily life experience.
An elderly gentleman after over 50 years of marriage told me that he doesn't celebrate Valentine's Day because he has already said everything there is to say about his love for his wife. Other people complain about the commercialism.
But I say, "Celebrate the blessing of the love in your life! " Do it for free with a look, a word of appreciation spoken from the heart, a warm smile, that says, "Thank you, for being part of my life, for steadfastly loving me, even when I don't always show you my best self." Preferably do it every moment of every day, like my friend Tommy Transit so beautifully demonstrates while at work driving buses in Vancouver as well as at play.
Valentine's day is a reminder to make a special point to flow that energy of love and appreciation. Of course the more that we flow it, the richer and more loving we are and the more full of love our life becomes. We then open to the nourishing life force energy that is the essence of our being, and we are filled to overflowing with this healing light of love.
The more I practice loving kindness with myself and in all my relationships the more I enjoy a deepening and a richness in my life experience.
